Lady Gaga - MAYHEM (Reissue):

Can't Stop the High: Interesting start. Can the DJ take you home so you stop? Only joking, it's not that bad. I'm not really feeling much from this though sadly. Anyway, it was...okay...moving on. 5/10

The Dead Dance: Well, this is the big one. Let's see what it's like. Sounds ominous. Bit spooky. Ohh, those synths are fun. This song is a fair bit better. Oh, that chorus...What wasted potential. It was going to go somewhere amazing and then it went...there. Bad. Uggggh, whyyyy? Especially with some of the synths in the verses...I guess some of the later choruses made me appreciate it more but it's still wasted potential. Decent, but not amazing. 6/10

Kill For Love: This was good as well. But some of those layered vocals...bad. Why does she insist on adding elements to the songs that make them bad? STOP IT! Decent again, but not amazing. This was definitely the best of the three though. 6/10

Overall Verdict: I did say I would do a full re-review of this album but uh I'm lazy so I'm not. Suffice it to say that a fair few of the songs on the original album have grown on me somewhat. I definitely like it more than I did. However, these deluxe songs...I am not a fan of. Like, what? I mean they're okay I guess? Whatever.

Natalie Red - THE FUTURE IS NOW:

Hide It: Giving a bit of PinkPantheress I feel? It's good. Has the same sort of vocals and production I think. Should be a bit longer? 7/10

Million Dollarz: I'm not sure this song is quite as good but it has a similar vibe. I just think I like the production slightly less? Still decent though! 6/10

Heart U: Oh, it feels like this could be more of a miss for me, at least based on the start. Yeah...this was a bit mediocre. The vocals were not hitting as much. The production was good in parts but not enough so. 5/10

LOOK OUT!: OKAY! Another miss sadly. Where did the good stuff go? It died sadly. BAD! This song just isn't working for me. Vocals and production just aren't working for me. 5/10

The One: Are we really ending on a more acoustic note? Bleh. Production was good in places again but it just didn't feel like it worked as a song for me. 5/10

Overall Verdict: Well, it started well. Until it didn't. It flopped quite quickly sadly. There's definitely some talent there, but it needed to be on more of this project! Argh! Definitely an artist I'll check out in future though because I'm sure Natalie will deliver the goods at some point.

SG Lewis - Anemoia:

Memory: Fine enough start. I like the production. I guess when it's mostly an instrumental song it's hard for me to click with it fully. But it was a decent listen. 6/10

Feelings Gone (feat. London Grammar): Pleasant listen, but nothing too much stood out for me. I liked the vocals. Feels like it may have gone on a bit too long though. 6/10

Sugar (feat. Shygirl): Kinda feel the same here. It was pleasant but not really feeling much. The addition of Shygirl didn't really do much for me. 6/10

Transition (feat. RAHH):  Kinda feel the same here. It was pleasant but not really feeling much. Nice vocals but...also...it almost could be anyone. 6/10

Devotion (feat. TEED): It's the same. Vocals are fine. Production is nice. Pleasant listen. But I also don't want to return. 6/10

Past Life: Repeat. Pleasant. Nice. But nothing special. Stuck record. 6/10

Back Of My Mind: And the same. Maybe I enjoyed this one marginally more? But not majorly so. 6/10

Another Place (feat. Frances): [Repeat the comments about the other songs with features] 6/10

Fallen Apart: Chill bop. Decent. Nothing special. 6/10

Baby Blue (feat. Oliver Sim): And yet again the same to finish off. 6/10

Overall Verdict: This is the type of album that is pleasant to listen to, and I did enjoy listening to it, but there's really nothing special to it at all. The songs are all pretty similar, and they give the vibe of something more to stick on in the background than something for 'in depth' listening. They do well at the background vibe, but they are not special.

Singles:

Agnes - EGO: The vocals are a bit hit or miss for me. The production feels a bit like generic dance type pop and I'm not really that inspired by it. Feels like a bit of a miss to me. 5/10

Ariana and the Rose - Limitless: A bit bland and boring honestly even with decent-ish vocals. Not a song I will return to. 5/10

Au/Ra - high fantasy: Bit of a dreamy song. Or maybe not? The guitar has changed things a bit. I definitely like it more with the rest of the production. Not my favourite but a decent song in the end. 6/10

CATTY - 4am (Back in His Bed): Unfortunately this was a bit of a miss for me. CATTY please slay again...I'm waiting. I just found this a bit bland and it did nothing for me. 5/10

Cece Natalie - Not even lying: I like the general vibe of this. The production and vocal effects work well together. Good song. 7/10

Celeste - Woman Of Faces: Almost thought we were going art pop there. Piano songs can be hit or miss for me. Yeah, that was a bit boring. A lot of boring songs this week. 7/10

chloe moriondo - girls with gills: Gives kinda cunty underwater energy. But I'm not totally feeling it. Yeah, that was a flop. Not a flipper. Or something. 5/10

Donatachi (feat. Hannah Diamond) - Angel: Decent song. It's about what I'd expect a collab from these two to sound like. Enjoyable bop! 7/10

Em Beihold - Hot Goblin: Omg it's me! I'm a fish too. I liked the production here. Good alt/indie pop vibes. 7/10

Florence Road - Break the Girl: Kinda boppy! I like the production. Not so keen on the vocals but this was a decent listen. 6/10

floweroflove - I'm your first: Saw her at BST Hyde Park and she seemed cool! Nice voice. That first part of the chorus isn't really my favourite, but otherwise I do enjoy the song. It has enjoyable production and all. Good stuff! Also, I really am cooked... 7/10

Georgia - Get Over It: Grindr? Anyway, this was about as mediocre as Grindr. Meh. 5/10

Hatchie - Lose It Again: It's fine. Nothing really special. Pleasant listen though. 6/10

Hunnygloss - I Don't Care!: Omg the Tesco promo! And this is great as well! Stunning song. 8/10

hemlocke springs - the beginning of the end: Well, this was highly mediocre. Oh dear. There were parts that nibbled a bit but...no. Meh. 5/10

Jennifer Lopez - Kiss of the Spider Woman: Sounds a bit Disney core (could be derogatory, I don't know). Good voice here. I enjoyed this. 7/10

Lana Lubany - KHALAS: Oh, this is cool! I really like the influences here. Great voice and also just good song all around. 7/10

Leah Kate - ill: You know what, this was decent in the end. Have to give her that. The production is good enough and she sounds...good enough. Don't ask for more as a certified Leah Kate hater. 6/10

Leah Kate - Meltdown: Is Leah Kate allergic to serving? Because it seems like it. I did like the production on this one (mostly!) though so that's an improvement. I just...do not like her music, to put it mildly. The empty parts before the chorus breakdown...meh. 5/10

Lola Young - SPIDERS: Spiders are cooler than this song. This song was kinda bad honestly. The production and vocals together were kinda grating, honestly? I guess it got a bit more interesting in the chorus but meh? It just sounds bad to me. 4/10

LØLØ - american zombie: This is pretty standard alt pop stuff. Sounds good though. Overall a good song, if nothing special. 7/10

Loud Luxury & Natalie Jane - UH OH!: Feels a bit like it could be an Ava Max song honestly. Nice boppy production. But it definitely screams Ava Max core. Nothing really special in that regard. 6/10

Omar Rudberg - Dying: Nice voice, but I'm not sure this is going to be my favourite song. Pretty much as I said. It kinda just happened. Nice voice but I won't be returning. 5/10

Perrie - Cute Aggression: This might be the first semi decent Perrie song I've heard. Although parts of the chorus still aren't quite there. This still feels a bit generic but I think it sounds decent at least. So it's an improvement at least. She's got a long way to go to reach JADE levels though. 6/10

Poppy, Amy Lee and Courtney LaPlante - End of You: Oh, this is great! I really like the production on this. It's a win for me. The vocals are STUNNING as well. It's the sort of heavier music that I like. And everyone works together well on this song. Okay that screaming is not my favourite part and that's why I'll never fully get into the heavier genres. The rest is fantastic though! 8/10

RAYE - What A Difference A Day Makes: Very chill jazz like vibes. It's not my favourite genre but RAYE does it well. Great voice as ever. It's just not really for me. 6/10

Róise - Blow To My Ego: This feels like a lot of other alt pop type songs. Doesn't make it bad of course. There's decent vocals and good production here. 6/10

Saint Etienne (feat. Confidence Man) - Brand New Me: Well, fun talking. This is not super my vibe honestly. It's decent enough. The talking does work well though. 6/10

Scene Queen - Platform Shoes: Saw Scene Queen live recently and she was pretty cunty. This was definitely not her best song live though so let's see how I find the studio version. Yeah, something about it is just a mess. Her bimbo metal really works well but this does not. Even though it's not really light production it doesn't feel heavy enough. It's alright but nothing special. 6/10

The Last Dinner Party - The Scythe: Do I have to listen to this? Like, really? Just joking. Nice vocals here. Wow, this might be the first The Last Dinner Party I've just...liked. I enjoyed this! Great vocals and some great production. Maybe I get a BIT of the hype now. Just a bit though. This is one song after all. 7/10
